Okay I need help on transformations

g(x)= -(1/2)x^2

i have to idenitify them.

parent graph is y = x2

for g(x) = -(1/2)x2, the coefficient of -(1/2) causes two transformations ... the 1/2 causes a horizontal "stretch" of the parabola and the (-) causes a reflection of the parabola over the x-axis.

graph g(x) in your calculator along with the parent function and you'll see what I mean.
