Hello,

This is a new iGCSE maths question from paper 2 summer 2018. I have no idea how to approach this problem - I've worked on it for hours but don't get very far with it. The mark scheme is below the question but this doesn't help me. Can you please explain? Many thanks

They are applying the intersecting chord theorem and the intersecting secant theorem. This involves extending radii DO and EO to diameters.

Is that enough to help?
