You need to be more careful! How did h(x) turn out to H(x)?f(x) = ((x^2) + 2x - 3).h(x) +(Ax + B)
f(1) = (1 + 2 -3)H(x)+ A +B
f(3) =(9 + 6 -3) h(x) + 3A + B
A + B - (12(h(x) + 3A + B) = 4
How to eliminate H(x)?
I think this is HallsofIvy's point: the question can't be answered as it stands, but if 3 had been -3, it could. Give that a try.f(x) = ((x^2) + 2x - 3).h(x) +(Ax + B)
