Material Size: 0.750" x 12" x 24" = $4870 per sheet
0.750" thickness
12 Width
24 Length

Material (UOM Unit of Measure) in2 = $14.09

How to figure out to get $14.09 from $4870? Or is it?

If 7in3=$14, then how would you find the price of 1in3? Do the same above.

How did you get $14.09 per cubic inch? In my computations you would have to use 1.2" x 12" x 24" sheets to get $14.09.

Actually it's worse than that. The price is per unit area, so the thickness has nothing to do with it. I can't replicate his given answer, either.
