if k (x + 4) > 3x + 7 and 2x + 1 > x + 2 are equivalent inequalities (I.e. they have the same range of values for x), find the value of k. Can any body solve this please

Solve the first inequality. What is the range of 'x' for solution?

Solve the second inequality. What is the range of 'x' for solution?

Equate those ranges → solve for 'k'

Please share your work with us .

If you are stuck at the beginning tell us and we'll start with the definitions such as "what is inequality"?
