Inequalities question

OOPs. That's what I meant! So it's divide by -4 on both sides, then what's the rules about changing it to g> -1?

I would almost never recommend dividing by negative anything. Use addition.

-4g < 4

-4g + 4g < 4 + 4g

0 < 4 + 4g

0 < 4(1 + g)

Divide by +4

If nothing else, it reminds you WHY the inequality must be reversed on multiplication or division by negative numbers.

The rule is exactly what you did. Seriously, how would you described what you did? If you can say it in your own words you'll remember it better than learning my words.
