Is this correct? I didn't know how to use the "2n roots" information.
I think you've interpreted it and solved it correctly (in two different ways!), but the problem itself is stated very poorly:

I think it's meant to be something like

If an=3535a_n=\sqrt{3\sqrt{5\sqrt{3\sqrt{5\dots}}}}, where the expression for ana_n contains exactly 2n2n radical symbols, ...​

In other words, at each term, two more nested radicals are put around the previous term.

The English grammar is wrong, and the wording is non-mathematical.
