Intersecting Cyliders

Hi I'm trying to understand how to get the resulting equation curve (the blue curve) of intersecting cylinders
x^2+y^2=2x
x^2+z^2=4


is this how to start??

x^2+y^2 - 2x = x^2+z^2- 4


x^2 - x^2 + y^2 - 2x = z^2- 4


y^2 - 2x = z^2- 4

y^2 - 2x - z^2 + 4 = 0
