Find (fog)-1(x) if:
f(x) = √(x² + 4)
g(x) = 1/(x2 - 2)
1) y = √(x2 + 4) → switch 'x' and 'y' → x = √(y2 + 4) → solve for 'y'

We can help - we only help after you have shown your work - or ask a specific question (e.g. "are these correct?")
f(x) = √(x² + 4)
g(x) = 1/(x2 - 2)
f(g(x)) = f(1/(x2 - 2))
y = √(1/(x2 - 2)2+4)
y2 = 1/(x4-4x2+4) + 4(x4-4x2+4)/(x4-4x2+4)
