Inverse of a function

Is \(\displaystyle f(x) = x-\dfrac{2}{x} + 2\) as you wrote, or is \(\displaystyle f(x)= \dfrac{x-2}{x+2}?\)

Interchange x and y(also called f(x))
Then solve for y.
Then simply replace y with y-1or f-1(x)
