Is there a closed form for the inverse of this function and if so, what is it?

f(x) = 4 + x + 5*exp(x - 3)

Sure, there's a closed form. That's easy.

Define WM(x) to be the inverse of that function. See, wasn't that simple?

Now, if you want one using only simple algebra that your basic algebra student might know, that you're out of luck. With x inside and outside that exponent, you're sunk.
