Is 1/13 + 1/26 /? 1/7 + 1/28 equiv. to 42/65 or -65/42?

Can I get a little help with this one?
Is this : 1/13 + 1/26 /? 1/7 + 1/28
equivalent to 42/65 or -65/42?

Do you mean:
\(\displaystyle \frac{\frac{1}{13} + \frac{1}{26}}{\frac{1}{7} + \frac{1}{28}}\)

Simplify the numerator and denominator and use this property when dividing fractions:

\(\displaystyle \frac{\;\frac{a}{b}\;}{\;\frac{c}{d}\;} = \frac{a}{b} \cdot \frac{d}{c}\) (note the inversion)

This is what I came up with.
1/13/?1/7 + 1/26/?1/28
=1/13 * 28/1 + 1/26 * 7/1
=28/13 + 7/26
=35/39
I know that my answer is wrong just by
looking at it. Could you show me where I am messing

The way you are writing the problem (with '?' signs) is not familiar to us.

Does your problem look like what posted (two fractions added then divide by addition of two other fractions)?

Yes, it is placed the way o 0 had it.
The line with the question mark means the darker line between the two top

Do it in three parts.

First

simplify the numerator

1/13 + 1/26

= 2/26 + 1/26

= 3/26


Next

simplify the denominator

1/7+ 1/28

= 4/28 + 1/28

= 5/28

Next

the division:

(3/26)/(5/28)

= 3/26 * 28/5

= 42/65

By the way use parenthesis to group functions.

Mathematically you should have written your problem as

(1/13 + 1/26)/(1/7 + 1/28)
