Background:
My team is paid on a job rate basis - metres of fence built by the job rate!
lets say total job works out to $950.
I have 3 guys working on the job at different experience rates:
Keith is a level 1.0
Drew is a 0.9
Murray is a 0.9

Now if they all worked the same hours on the job it's simple ratios, each would get a % of the $950 based on their experience rating. (% is based on total experience rating for that job - 2.8)
Keith - 35.72% - $339.34
Drew - 32.14% - $305.33
Murray - 32.14% $305.33

My problem starts when all the guys don't work equal hours and I'm looking for a straightforward calculation so the guys (and I) understand!
Scenario:
Keith and Murray both work 15 hours, whilst Drew only works 12 hours.......
How do I now work out their pay based on experience level and hours worked!?

Can anyone please help!
Cheers, Andy

What are the technical definitions of "job rate basis" and "by the job rate"? what are the specific rules governing payment?

How did you arrive at the above? Would it be correct for us to assume that the "levels" have a direct relationship to the rate of pay? For instance, if the "level 1.0" rate were ten dollars an hour, would it be correct to assume that "level 0.9" guys would get nine dollars an hour?

And... what would their pay be? What are the rules?

Please provide all of the information on this exercise. Thank you! ;)
