Kinetic energy is converted to thermal energy. So how hard would I have to slap a chicken to cook it?

Let's say a standard whole chicken. Like you would have for dinner with family
 
And you would probably get into trouble with PETA!

Okay, you would have to calculate the kinetic energy of your hand. Then assume all that energy is transferred to the chicken (it won't be- you are going to hurt your hand also). Now, you will need to know the "coefficient of heat capacity" for the chicken.
 
This is exactly what a microwave oven does. Look at the frequency of it and the power and you can work out your answer.
