A = 30.263/2 + 7 B = 17.823 - √[(18.09)2 - (30.263/2)2 ] Last edited by a moderator: Feb 12, 2015

So your saying B is 7.909 if you take it to the 3rd decimal place. That isn't A² + B² = C² is it? I can figure it out when you put it in the formula, just having a hard time grasping where the formula comes from. Edit: Well I see it is A² + B² = C² I guess my brain is just having a hard time with it. Last edited: Feb 11, 2015
