Find the line equation, if m = -3 and P = (-1, 1/2)
(y - y^1) = m(x - x^1)
(y - 1/2) = -(3/1)(x + 1)
y - 1/2 = -(3/1)x - (3/1)
(3/1)x + y = -(3/1) + 1/2
3x + y = -2_1/2
I was just wondering if I did this properly. This is the only answer that came out as a fraction so I just wanted to make sure. Thank you for taking the time to look over this and any help is greatly appreciated.
