Can someone help me solve this question.
Let a = (1,-1,sqrt(2)) be a vector. Show that if a vector b is perpendicular to z-axis, then the angle between a and b vectors is grater or equal than pi/4 .

What is the description of vectors perpendicular to the z-axis?

You didn't answer my question. I did not expect that you would be given that information. It is time for you to think about it and tell me the answer to my question. While we're at it, what vector represents the z-axis?
