Hey guys, I have this problem that I've been stuck on for quite some hours now. If anyone could help me out, that would be great!

The question is as followed:

Let g(x)=Integral from -25 to x^2 f(t) dt
Use the techniques of linear approximation to approximate g(4.8) given the following information about f.
-f is continuous on the interval (-00,00)
-f is an odd function
-f(25)=1/8

Hey guys, I've been stuck on this problem for some long hours now, I still have no idea as to how I'm supposed to solve it.

The question is as followed:

Let g(x)=Integral from -25 to x^2 f(t) dt
Use techniques of linear approximation to approximate g(4.8) given the following information about f
f is continuous on the interval (-00,00)
f is an odd function
f(25)=1/8

Which is correct, the first version with the "minus" signs, or the second version without? What is the meaning of the double-zeroes in the "interval"? Is the comma between the zeroes the European decimal point, or something else?

Either way, please reply with a clear statement of your efforts so far, so we can see where you're getting stuck. Thank you! ;-)

As a hint, f is odd means that f(-x) = ?. So what is
\(\displaystyle \int_{-25}^{25}\, f(t)\, dt\)
and how is that related to g(4.8)?
