1. (8/3)x-3=(2/3)x+15
2.(12/5)+7=31-(3/5)x
heres the example they give me. still cant figure it out though
Solve for x.
6-(1/2)x=(3/5)+x
it says ya need to isolate the variable x. We first add (1/2)x to both sides and subtract (3/5) from both sides
then they got 6-(3/5)=x+(1/2)x
(27/5)=(3/2)x
(2/3) times (27/5)=(2/3)times(3/2)x
answer is (18/5)x
