I'm unsure on how to start this ex.

A 3-dimensional vector space V has the base v = (v1, v2, v3). A linear representation f: V → R2 has with respect to the base v in V and the standard base e in the R2 image matrix:

A vector u in V has with respect to the base v the coordinate vector

Specify the coordinate vector of the image f (u) with respect to the base e of R2.

the answer is wanted as a vector.
