I have gotten pretty far on this problem but I am having trouble towards the end. I can't use a calculator to prove it but i did anyway and found the answer to be 2, getting there is the problem

The original equation is:

((log(32)/log(27)+log(1/4)/log(27))((log(9)/log(2))

i simplified it to be

((log(8)/log(27))((log(9)/log(2))

then i made it

((log(2^3)/log(3^3))((log(3^2)/log(2))

from there i have no idea

Thank you,
Larry

You say "equation", but I'm seeing neither an "equals" nor any variables. Did you perhaps mean "expression"...? And are the instructions to "simplify" (rather than, as for equations, to "solve")...?

Also, there appears to be an unmatched parenthesis, but I can't tell from whence it might be missing. For instance, "((log(9)/log(2))" has four opening parens, but only the closing parens...?

Please pardon my confusion and reply with clarification. Thank you! :D
