I have been really struggling with this problem given to me, beginning to think it may not even be possible to solve, anyway here it is:

x^(1/(1+w)) + y^(w/(1+w)) = z

Make w the subject.

Thanks in advance.

The difficulty is the \(\displaystyle +\). Logs will not help there.

Cas you make 'w' the subject in this? \(\displaystyle a\cdot\frac{1}{1+w} + b\cdot\frac{w}{1+w} = d\)

Too bad it doesn't help. Liek pka said, the "+" doesn't help.
