I need to make an input-output table to represent the function f(x) = 3x + 9, and I'm supposed to use 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 as the domain. Please explain, and show the table.

f(x)=3x+9

This is a simple problem - what does your text-book say - what does your class notes say? Look at some example problems in the book - then show your work. Tell us exactly where you are stuck.

USE 1,2,3,4,AND 5 AS THE DOMAIN. PLEASE EXPLAIN AND SHOW TABLE

We can't teach lessons here, so let's at least try to narrow down your area of confusion, so we can find useful links for you, from which to study.

If you were given "y = 3x + 9" and told to "evaluate at x = 1", would you know how to do that?

Do you know how to make "lists" of numbers? Do you know how to organize them in a table?

Have you ever seen "function notation" before?

Please be specific. Thank you! :D
