Mr. Swanson is paid an annual salary of $37, 500.00 semimonthly. What is his gross pay per pay perid?

Ok, I didn't read the before you post until now. Sorry. I am very new to this and I am trying to help my daughter who is just the same way in math as I was. You are my last hope.

The way i understand this problem is: I would divide $37.500.00 by 12 months which = $3125.00/mo and divide that by 2 to get a total of $1562.50. This would be his gross pay.

I hope you are not laughing too hard, help, please. Thanks.

I hope you are not laughing too hard, help, please. Thanks.
