When they say "compare", they want to know which number is bigger and which is smaller.
2 2/11 is written as a mixed number. Rewrite it as an improper fraction.
Next, you need to get the denominators the same on both; then you may compare the numerators.
Do you know how to get a common denominator, when working with fifths and elevenths?
