In 2006, the two main helpers for me in this and other forums were MarkFL and Soroban.
I am not sure, but I think MarkFL passed away. In the summer of 2023, Mark told me via email that he was given about 6 months to live. I don't know if this is true or not.
I don't know Soroban's email. However, Mark gave me his email in 2023. We last emailed each other in the summer of that year.
In 2006, Soroban (a retired math professor) was 75 years old. Does anyone know if he is alive? Soroban's contribution to many math forums were amazingly simple to read and understand. Soroban and I became close friends. I wonder where they are as we near the end of 2025. Does anyone know?
