Hi. I need help with a few math questions. So if anybody could help me with this, that would be great !

1) i just need to know if these are simplified correctly.
a) f(-x) = (-x)²+2(-x) --> x(x-2)
b) f(a) = (a)²+2(a) --> a(a+2)
c) f(1/a) = (1/a) ²+2(1/a) --> 5/a²
d) f(x) = (2x/x-1) [two x over x minus 1] --> 2a+2h/-a-h

2) I don't understand how to solve this. I'm bad with roots.
f(x) = x/4?(9-x²)
it's x over little 4 square root (i think it's called 4th root...so 4th root of 9-x². not 4 multiplied by ?(9-x²)

Where do the a and h come from??
