Hello, I am having a hard time with putting these word problems into algebraic expressions and working them out. Can someone please help me?

1. Tech testing has a solution that is 80% base and another that is 30% base. A technician needs 150 liters of a solution that is 62% base. The 150 liters will be prepared by mixing the two solutions on hand. How much of each should be used?

2. Two cars leave Aurora, traveling in opposite directions. One car travels at 80 km/h and the other at 96 km/h. In how many hours will they be 528 km apart?

3. Sarah paddled for 4 hours with 6 km/h current to reach a campsite. The return trip against the current took 10 hours. Find the speed of Sara's canoe in still water.

4. The perimeter of a rectangular oceanfrint lot is 190 meters. The width is one-fourth of its length. Find the dimensions.

Any help I would most appreciate. Thanks.

What are your thoughts? What have you tried? How far have you gotten? Where are you stuck?

Or are you unable even to begin, so you need links to some online lessons first?

Thank you! :D
