how do I write a quadratic formula using a list of numbers with a pattern , for example :

1
4
9
16

*1-4 is +3
*4-9 is +5
*9-16 is +7

**3-5 is +2
**5-7 is +2

I know that means it's a second degree equation but i don't remember how to write it

Re: helpmepleaseeeee

Why is this in "Geometry and Trig"?

Most notably, 1-4 is NOT +3. EVERYTHING is backwards. Very troubling.

If y = a*x^2 + b*x + c...

That "2" you ended with is twice "a", so 2*a = 2 or a = 1.

y = x^2 + b*x + c

Now what?
