Hi everyone,
I just started Mutlivariable Calculus in college and I am having some difficulty with vectors on one of the homeworks.
I am stuck on Question 1c and the Strengthening Set
For 1c, assuming that I found point D correctly, I did:
Found AD and magnitude of vector AD
Divide the components of AD by the magnitude to get ADu, a unit vector with a length of 1
Multiplied ADu by 4. Negate the components of 4 ADu to get v, a vector opposite of AD with a length of 4
I'm not sure if this is correct, so I would like some feedback on my process and answer if possible.
As for the Strengthening Set, I'm not sure how or where to start. I haven't digest this concept of 3D and vectors yet so I'm particularly stuck on this problem. Any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
