National Joint Math Meetings (JMM) in Atlanta

The meetings in Atlanta were great. I learned more math in this past week then I've learned in the past few years. It was very exciting going to meetings all day and night long for an entire week. Even my 10 minute talk went well.
In the next four years there will be two national meetings near me (about five hours away) which I will attend. The meeting in Atlanta was 1000 miles from my home which I will not do again (I think).

What's one of the more interesting things that you learned there?

If I could have, I would have gone just for the Atlanta food scene (gulf crab fritters, mmmmm).
