Hey everyone
got a issue that I am unclear of what to do ..
the problem is: X^3 + 3X^2 + 5X + 4
-------------------------
X+1
I know that this involves long division to get the solution.

St. 2 - X+1 | X^3 + 3X^2 + 5X + 4
-X^3 - X^2
---------------
2
this is where I am a bit lost .. I know the next thing to do is take the X to the 2 which would be 2x , but would that not leave the X left over?
... can anyone assist this?
