I just can't solve this, I've been trying for 30 minutes...need help

14xsquared-x+15

Re: Need help factoring

check the problem . I believe it should be 14x^2-x-15

14x^2 -x +15

factors of 14
1,14..... 2,7
factors of 15
1,15...3,5

we want a set whose sum of products add to 1
none exist, use binomial equation
x=-b+/- square root [b^2-4ac] all over 2a
x=1+/-[1-4[14][15]]^1/2 all over 28
x=1+/- [ 1-840]^1/2 all over 28
x=1+/- sqrt[-839] all over 28 complex roots

if the problem was
14x^2-x-15
we would have
[14x-15][x+1] answer

I am afraid I do not know what "problem was prime " means
The factors of 14x^2-x+15 are complex numbers
[x-1-i sqrt839]/28 [x-1+i sqrt 839]/28
