I would write \(\displaystyle \sqrt[3]{x^2}\) as \(\displaystyle x^{\frac{2}{3}}\). Since it is in the denominator I would raise it to the numerator as \(\displaystyle x^{-\frac{2}{3}}\). and write \(\displaystyle \sqrt{x}\) as \(\displaystyle x^{\frac{1}{2}}\). So \(\displaystyle \frac{x- \sqrt{x}}{\sqrt[3]{x^2}}= x^{-2/3}(x- x^{\frac{1}{2}})= x^{1- 2/3}- x^{1/2- 2/3}= x^{1/3}- x^{-1/6}\).
