The tread run of a stair is 10 1/2 inches and the tread rise is 6 7/8 inches.determine the total length of a stair rail in a stair with 14 treads if it begins to plumb above the first riser and ends plumb above the last riser. (Use the framing square and the 12ths scale)

Do you have a "framing square" and "12ths scale"? Do you know what that means? Do you have a picture?
