Find any vertical, horizontal and oblique asymptotes
F(x) = x3+3x2-4 / x2+2x-3

  1. In computer interface - for x3 we write x^3

  2. I am assuming the denominator is a polynomial. It must be expressed with a grouping symbol [e.g. ()] - otherwise the value changes.

  3. Please fix above problems and repost. And:

Have you tried factoring the numerator and denominator? What did you get? What does that tell you about asymptotes?

What happens to f(x) as x becomes very large? What does that tell you about asymptotes?

Have you tried dividing the numerator by the denominator? What does that tell you about asymptotes?
