I am a foster parent to a 16 year old boy who is just learning geometry. Since I did not have geometry in school, I am learning with him. He has to do an 2 art projects -- one based on .2, .3, or .4; the other based on .5 or .6. I know what a point is in geometry but I do not understand what kind of designs he is supposed to make based on these. Please explain. Thanks.

I suspect only he and his teacher know...?

There is no canonical "design" for a number. You'll need to ask the instructor what is meant by this project.

Thank you for your quick reply. I checked the book when the young man came home and discovered it was division headings in the chapter!!!!!!! My ignorance could not have been funnier if it had been in a comedy movie!!!!
