Need help with statistic problems ?!

Hello,
This is a math help site where we expect students to solve their own problem with helpful hints from us. The problem is if you show us none of your work we do not know what type of help you need. Please read the guidelines for this forum.

Here is a hint: Suppose there is family that has two boys (and no girls), so it given that their first two children were both boys. What do you think the probability of their next born child will be a boy? I am sure that you know this answer.

Alternatively you can list the sample space for 3 children and then remove the ones that do not have the 1st two children as boys. Look at what remains. What is the probability that the 3rd child is a boy looking at the reduced sample space?
