Need real help! Linear Business Modeling!

Thanks very much! There are two more questions I think I understand a bit better after the last few. Number 5 asks:

"Suppose the entrepreneurs are successful in their business and are restoring and selling 25 cartridges each day of the 260 days they are open. What will be their hourly wage for the year if all the profit is shared equally?"

I answered with this :

p(n) = 17(6500) - 13,500
p(n) = 110,500 - 13,500
p(n) = 97,000 income

97,000 divided equally divided among the two business partners is 48,500. That divided by 260 work days is 186.53. And finally that divided by 10 hours a day is a wage of 18.65.

Is this a reasonable answer?

Well, lemme "see".

18.65*10*260*2 = 96980

96980 = 17n - 13500

n = 6498.8235

Yup -- seems reasonable! :D

Thank you very much for your help! Would have been a lot more hassle and misery without it! And to think, online tutoring program wants $300+ quarterly and they provide less defined answers...

So what do you call traditional, non-platform companies? We call them linear businesses, because their operations are well-described by the typical linear supply chain. Linear companies create value in the form of goods or services and then sell them to someone downstream in their supply chain.
