A queue forms at the foot of a ski lift and new skiers join when there are less than 6 people in the queue. When there are six people, it's must use a

other ski lift.

Chairs arrive in pairs 30 seconds apart, and the probabilities of new skiers arriving within 30 seconds are:

Þ (0) = 0.15

p (3) = 0.2

Þ (1) = 0.2 p (2) = 0.25

Þ (4) = 0.15 p (5) = 0.05.

Considering the states as the number of skiers in the queue immediately after the start of a price of chairs and the steps as the start of a price of chairs, write the transition matrix for this Markov chain,
