order of operations: [(-14+2)+5]/0+9 exponent4 *7

Re: order of operations!! need help.

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally- PEMDAS (parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction)

[(-14+2)+5]/0+9 exponent4 *7

First, u would take the parenthsis [(-14+2)+5].. you would solve -14 +2 fisrt... then add 5... then solve the 9 exponent 4... times that by 7.... add 9..... then divide what you got in the parenthesis with what u got on the bottom...
Hope that helps hon =]

As written, there is that problem of division by 'zero" of course.

However, the poster may be missing a "parenthesis" around to get

(0+9)[sup:29sy0vco]4[/sup:29sy0vco]

or

(0+9[sup:29sy0vco]4[/sup:29sy0vco])
