Going to start off with saying I have no idea as to how I even start with this problem.
I have to find the common solutions and give the coordinate points of a and b.
y=f(x)=2x^2
y=8
and also I have
y=f(x)=1/3x^2
y=x+6
I'm not looking for the answers just an explanation as how to approach it first.
I'm in 12th grade now taking summer courses for Algebra 2. I couldn't find the explanation at all for this type of problem and I asked for help in a few places just most told me to just use my calculator while I just want to learn this efficiently so I can keep on going on with my work.
