I am fascinated by Jim simons ability to beat the market. I am a trader as well looking to hone his mathematical skills.
Trading is all about decoding patterns.

Recently, I observed something. Attaching the image for it.

for

21x29 it’s 609
22x28 is. 616
23x27. Is. 621
24x26. Is. 624
25x25. Is. 625

same for 31x39 = 1209

Why does this cycle repeat this way and how it can be exploited, For this condition to occur, the unit digits must add up to ten and the tens digit has to be same.

Can Anyone help decide this?

This is basic algebra.
2 numbers are 10x+a, 10x+b. And a+b = 10.
Product:
(10x+a)(10x+b) = 100x^2 + 10xb + 10xa + ab = 100x^2 + 10x(a+b) + ab = 100x^2 + 10x(10) + ab = 100x^2 + 100x + ab =
= 100(x^2+x) + ab = 100x(x+1) + ab
The result is the "left" digit increased by 1 multiplied by the original digit concatenated with the product of unit digits.
I have no idea how this is applied to market patterns.
