Find a pattern for the sequence. Describe the pattern and use it to show the next two terms.
6, 24, 96, 384

\(\displaystyle a_n \ = \ 6(4)^{n-1}\)

\(\displaystyle a_1 \ = \ 6(4)^0 \ = \ 6\)

\(\displaystyle a_2 \ = \ 6(4)^1 \ = \ 24\)

\(\displaystyle a_3 \ = \ 6(4)^2 \ = \ 96\)

\(\displaystyle a_4 \ = \ 6(4)^3 \ = \ 384\)

\(\displaystyle a_5 \ = \ 6(4)^4 \ = \ ?\)

\(\displaystyle a_6 \ = \ 6(4)^5 \ = \ ?\)

\(\displaystyle Now \ do \ you \ get \ it?\)

Never just give the answer without working through the problem or at least giving a hint.
