the medal distribution from 2000 olympic games is shown

United States: gold- 039, silver- 025, bronze- 033

other : gold- 262, silver- 274, bronze- 295

if one medal winner is chosen at random, find the probability that the winner was from USA, given that he/she was a gold medal

i got \(\displaystyle \frac{97}{928} * \frac{301}{928}=0.03390\)

if someone could check this over and tell if i am doing this right or not

What is the question, CLEARLY?
A medal winner is chosen at random and this person was a gold medalist:
what is probability that this person was from USA?
In other words, is it "given" that the person was a gold medalist?
