OK so, from my dad's explanation, here's what I took in. x in this case is the domain while y is the range.
A function can touch/cross its asymptote as long as it ONLY approaches the asymptote as x approaches +/- infinity

An asymptote is a line that limits how the graph behaves as x approaches +/- infinity.

A function can touch/cross its horizontal asymptote as long as it ONLY approaches the asymptote as x approaches +/- infinity

A horizontal asymptote is a line that limits how the graph behaves as x approaches +/- infinity.

OK thanks. Other than that, is it correct?

Yes

But remember

A function cannot intersect or touch vertical asymptote.

It can't touch the vertical one as long as x is the domain right? Because if it does, the certain x values will have more than 1 y value, correct?
And thanks for the prompt replies, I really appreciate it =)
