Can someone please help and work this out step by step.. we have been trying to figure it out for foreverrr! thankkss

You must be VERY clear in the difference between a FACTOR and a TERM.

Identify the two terms.
Find the common factors in the two terms.

(x-4)^4 appears in both terms
x appears in both terms

Use the Distributive Property and rewrite it with that information.

Sometimes easier if you "condense"; let a = x-4 ; so your expression becomes:
x^2(5a^4) + a^5(2x)
= 5 a^4 x^2 + 2 a^5 x
= a^4 x(5x + a) ; get my drift?
