in saskatchewan, HST is 5% and the GST is 5%.
HST: 5% of 25,99$ = 0,05 x 25,99$
=1,30$
GST: 5% of 25,9$ = 0,05 x 25,99$
=1,30$
so the price to be payed would be 25,99$+ 1,30$+ 1,30$= 28,59$
however i understand the exation, the only thing i dont understand is how 0,05 x 25,99 is equal to 1,30
Shouldn't the number be higher than 25,99? because its a multiplication?
