5 black cows and 7 white cows in 8 days give as milk as 9 black cows and 8 white cows in 5 days.
Now the question is:how many white cows is needed to give milk as equal as that of 10 black cows?????????????????

This not a calculus problem...

However,

Let

milk given by 1 black cow in 1 day = B

milk given by 1 white cow in 1 day = W

milk given by 5 black cows and 7 white cows in 8 days = milk given by (5*8=) 40 black cows and (8*7 = ) 56 white cows in 1 day

and

milk given by 9 black cows and 8 white cows in 5 days = milk given by (5*9=) 45 black cows and (8*5 = ) 40 white cows in 1 day

So

milk given by 40 black cows and 56 white cows = milk given by 45 black cows and 40 white cows

40B + 56W = 45B + 40W

Now continue......
