13245 have I done my radiant math wrong? I cant remember if you just 14tt÷180= radiant or is there a step I've missed?

Can you please state the original question more clearly? What is on the numerator on the RHS?

You appear to have replaced [MATH]\tan(\phi)[/MATH] with 14°; that makes no sense, as the value of a tangent is a dimensionless number (ratio), not an angle in degrees or radians. Furthermore, you can't just replace a quantity in one unit with its value in another unit (14° with 0.2).

You did the right thing to convert (though the first = sign is misplaced); but you must never round so drastically. If this radian measure turns out to be appropriate, you should use 0.2443, rounding as little as possible before the end of the problem.

Now, once we see the actual problem, we'll be able to judge whether any of what you did is correct. Please read our submission guideline summary, which explicitly requests the entire problem.
